V screw connecting basket for connecting bone joint

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE: To enable the positioning without generating a wedge action by a clearance to any direction by having a continuous male V-screw, by enabling the screw can be screwed in the mating female screw formed in the hole, and by drilling a hole between coiled neighboring grooves of the screw. CONSTITUTION: A joining basket 10 is formed by drilling 8 small holes 11 which are located evenly separated each other to the axial direction in a dense rigid steel cylinder, and each hole has the center on a circle concentric with the axis of the cylinder. Then a large hole having a center on the axis is drilled. By tapping the V-screw 12 on the outer surface of this cylinder the hole 13 is appeared on this surface, and these holes pass through the each intersection of a rounded valley 14 and the small hole 11. Then a screw thread 15 is formed on the inner surface of the joining basket, and a cap 16 having holes 18 like those of a salt shaker is screwed. For constituting a joining basket, by drilling holes 11 in large size so to cross each holes, and enables to eliminate the necessity of drilling the center hole.
