Clamping circuit

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To properly remove noisy by stopping a clamping action when a clamping level is higher than a first reference level and/or when it is lower than a second reference level. CONSTITUTION:A noise detector 21 has a first reference level H and a second reference level L, and when an input signal is higher than the first reference level H and/or when it is lower than the second reference level L, an output is made into a low level, and an enable signal at a high level only at the time of a signal level in the synchronizing period of a horizontal synchronizing signal between the first reference level H and second reference level L. Thus, at the time of detecting the noise, the enable signal of the output is made into the low level, the enable signal, in which a part corresponding to the noise is removed, is supplied to an AND circuit 23, and for the part, in which the noise is generated, a switch 17 is turned off.
