Manufacture of opening trim

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To improve adhesive strength by manufacturing an opening trim by sticking a fabric, the stuck surface of which is subjected to raising, to the design surface of a trim main body. CONSTITUTION:A weather strip main body comprising a trim main body 1A where an insert 3 is buried, which is formed by solid rubber and a hollow portion 6 formed by sponge rubber, is molded by extrusion. Secondly, a fabric 12 is stuck to the design surface of the trim portion 1A by adhesives. As the fabric to be used, the stuck surface A side thereof is subjected to raising. Accordingly, as the stuck surface is subjected to raising, an anchoring effect produced by raising and an enlargement effect of the adhesive surface are multiplied together so as to improve adhesive strength.
