Porcelain capacitor
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To mass-produce a small-sized and large-capacitance porcelain capacitor at a low cost by a method wherein counter internal electrodes specifically spaced are connected to external electrodes on porcelain side faces and a part sandwiched between the counter internal electrodes and a part other than that are constituted of dielectrics, of a perovskite structure, whose compositions are different from each other. CONSTITUTION:A combination of dielectric materials in a part sandwiched between counter internal electrodes 13, 14 and in a part other than that is examined. A thickness of a dielectric 12 of a part between the counter internal electrodes 13, 14 is set to 2-20mum, a material of a perovskite structure such as barium titanate, strontium titanate or the like is used as the dielectric material. An alumina-based material, a magnesia-based material or the like is used for a porcelain part other than that in addition to the dielectric of the perovskite structure. By this setup, a capacitor whose electrical periphery and mechanical property are equal can be obtained easily and at a low cost.
