Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To correct time code data read a prescribed period before by adding/ subtracting data equivalent to the difference in a control signal for every prescribed period to/from the time code data when an error exists in a time code signal. CONSTITUTION:A time code reading circuit 5 executes decoding processing for a time code (LTC) reproducing signal, prepares time code data DT, and sends the time code data DT to a CPU 6. A waveform shaping circuit 9 generates CTL pulse signal PC from a reproduced control (CTL) signal and sends the CTL pulse signal PC to a CTL counter 10 and the CPU 6, and the counter 10 prepares count data DC and sends the count data DC to the CPU 6. The CPU 6 reads the data DC in an prescribed cycle suitable for an operation instructing pulse PA and performs an operation for obtaining difference data DELTADC by subtracting the read data DC from the preceding data DC. Further, the CPU 6 reads the time code data DT in the prescribed cycle and corrects the time code data by adjusting the difference data when the error exists.
