Device for distributing torque of four-wheel-drive vehicle

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To enable the change of torque distribution to front/rear wheels or right/left wheels without causing deceleration due to the action of braking force by providing a torque distribution varying means for controlling the action of an output control means and a brake control means. CONSTITUTION:An output control means A variably controls throttle opening through the adjustment of an actuator. A brake control means B independently controls the braking force between front wheels 5, 6 and rear wheels 7, 8 or the braking force between left wheels 5, 7 and right wheels 6, 8. A control signal from a torque distributing varying means C is outputted to the output control means A and the brake control means B to variably adjust an engine output and the braking force of the front/rear wheels or right/left wheels in accordance with the traveling condition of a vehicle, to control torque distribution.
