Signal processor for charge coupled device

Abstract

Abstract PURPOSE:To obtain the picture of high quality having no vertical stripe shape fixed pattern noise by detecting a gain between channels and the collapse of a balance in a direct current level and applying a feed back so as to balance them. CONSTITUTION:The outputs of horizontal shift registers 12, 13 are respectively inputted to sampling precircuits 18, 19 through output amplifiers 14, 15 and video amplifiers 16, 17. According to the switching operation of switch circuits 20, 21, the potential of the two positions of an image pickup area and an optical black area is inputted to sampling circuits 22, 23 and the output is inputted to clamping circuits 26, 27. An effective signal is sampled at a sampling circuits 24, 25. The variance of the gain between the channels is detected by a buffer circuit 30 and the variance detecting circuit 32 between the channels of the gain and this output is fed back to the video amplifier 17. The variance in the direct current level between the channels is fed back to the sampling precircuit 19.
