Scroll type fluid machinery
Abstract
Abstract PURPOSE:To maintain the phase relation of two scrolls in high precision by detecting the revolution positions of the driving shafts of two scrolls revolved by the respective motors and controlling the motor on the controlled side so that the number of revolution and phase of two scrolls accord each other. CONSTITUTION:The first scroll 17 revolved by the first motor 18 is housed in the first shell 11 having an intake chamber 12, and the second scroll 21 which compresses the fluid in a compression chamber 23 in cooperation with the scroll 17 is housed and revolved by the second motor 22. In the upper part of the first shell 11, the second shell 14 having a discharge chamber 15 is installed, and a driving shaft 19 having an exhaust passage 19a is inserted. The cut parts 20 and 24 formed on the driving shafts 19 and 25 of the scrolls 17 and 21 are detected by position sensors 26 and 27, and the first motor 18 is controlled so that the revolution speed and phase of each scrolls 17, 21 accord, by a control circuit 27 on the basis of the output signals of the position sensors 26 and 27.
