Abstract

Abstract <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wireless apparatus which attains high speed communication beyond the range of a predetermined number of uplink time slots or downlink time slots. <P>SOLUTION: The control section 102 of a mobile station PS1 controls a wireless section 101 to perform symmetrical communication wherein the number of time slots is the same for uplink channels and downlink channels in the case of ordinary communication adopting the TDMA system between the mobile station PS1 and a base station CS. The control section 102 controls the wireless section 101 to perform asymmetrical communication for the transmission in the timing of the time slots for the downlink channel in addition to the original time slots for the uplink channel as required, and the base station CS receives a plurality of the transmitted time slots wherein the number of time slots in use differs between the uplink channel and the downlink channel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
