Abstract
Abstract 972,740. Two-part couplings. F. J. MOORE. Oct. 24, 1962, No.40259/62. Heading H2E. In a battery connector a terminal 2, screwed or soldered on to the core of a wire 1, is slidably mounted in a side channel of a plastic cap 5 which fits over a battery post 6. A spring 4, located between the aperture in cap 7 and one end of terminal 2, urges the pointed contact end of terminal 2 against post 6. An oiling aperture 9 and felt washer 10 are provided.
