Abstract
Abstract 915,518. Laminates; coated fabrics. LUEDER, H. Nov. 9, 1959 [Nov. 12, 1958], No. 37953/59. Class 140. [Also in Groups II and X] A light-diffusing heat-insulating screen for a window of a room comprises a polyethylene or polyester foil light transparent band 1 having thereon a gold, platinum or nickel layer 2, e.g. vapour deposited which reflects the heat rays and is partially permeable to the visible light rays, the thickness of the layer increasing in the longitudinal direction of the band which in use is adapted to be stretched between the top and bottom of the window as on rollers 9, 10, Fig. 5, so as to be movable longitudinally with respect to the window. Two such screens may be stuck together on their metal coated sides by adhesive 6 or with a transparent carrier film 7 in between their metal coatings.
