Abstract 479,230. Gas meters. WILSON GASMETERS, Ltd., G., (in Liquidation), WILSON, J. H., and MILLNER, F. Dec. 7, 1936, No. 33458. [Class 54] [Also in Group XXVI] A telescopic tubular connection 3, 4 secured by union nuts 5 between the inlet and outlet .fittings 2 of a gas meter allows, after removal of a plug 6, gas to be byepassed when the meter fails. The connection 3, 4 is rendered gas-tight by a union nut 8 and packing 7. The inlet and outlet fittings are provided with removable test plugs 10.
