Abstract
Abstract The feed installation consists: - of an elongate trough (1), open on the top side to allow it to be supplied and to allow access for the animals, - of at least one hopper (2) which contains the food to be dispensed. This hopper (2) is equipped with dispensing means (23, 24, 25), preferably adjustable, for supplying the trough (1), and it is guided above the supply opening (10) in order to scan at least one part of the length of the said trough. This installation is particularly suitable for feeding poultry such as breeding ducks raised on the ground in rearing sheds.
