Abstract

Abstract The installation comprises a television camera 2 and a television receiver 3 distant from one another. Means of selection 5, acting on the means 25 of deflecting the electron beam in the camera, make it possible to vary at will, from control means 7 situated by the receiver, the magnitude and position of that region of the sensitive surface 22 of the camera scanned by the electron beam, and thus to observe, on the screen of the receiver, either the whole of a document 1 placed in front of the camera lens 21, or on a larger scale, a chosen portion of this document.
