Abstract
Abstract The sail is mounted at the head 2 of the mast 3 and is held in position by a yard 7 in a plane which is essentially perpendicular to the longitudinal axis of the nautical craft 4, said yard 7 is fixed to a small mast 6 which is integral with the head 2 of the mast 3 by means of a swivel joint 5. Said swivel joint 5 comprises a restoring moment which tends to replace the lift sail 1 in a plane essentially parallel to the longitudinal axis of the craft. Lift sail for sail-propelled craft
