Abstract Ski boot whose collar 5 comprises a shock-absorbing device comprising: a. A compressible element 15, 16; an adjustment element 19 consisting of two sets of two longitudinally and transversely movable pieces 20, 21 each having inclined symmetrical ramps interacting and sliding with respect to each other, a means 48 intended to join the fixed piece 21 of the first set to the collar 5; b. A means for holding the compressible element 15, 16 under tension and firmly joining the compressible element 15, 16 and adjustment element 19 assembly.
