Abstract Novel electronic component serving as pilot lamp. A light-emitting diode 3 has two emitters 3A, 3B for red and green light, each controlled by a NAND gate 9, 10, one input of which is linked to a connection terminal R or V, and another input of which is linked to a circuit 8 oscillating at a frequency of 1 Hz having one input linked to a connection terminal C so that by supplying the said terminals R, V, C with the appropriate voltage either a fixed or flashing red light, a fixed or flashing green light, a fixed or flashing orange light or extinction is obtained.
