Device for alcohol distillation with a low energy usage.
Abstract
Abstract Device intended for carrying out the distillation of alcohol with a low energy usage. The device is characterised by the presence of a vacuum pump 1 which keeps it at a low pressure (of the order of approximately 150 mb). The energy necessary for the vaporisation is supplied by the condenser 8 of a heat pump which is placed in the vaporisation vessel. The heat pump is equipped with two evaporators. The purpose of the evaporator 41 is to condense the water present in the vapour by means of a cold water loop 42 and a battery 16. The purpose of the evaporator 29 is to condense the alcohol present in the vapour which has been previously separated from the water condensed by the separator 17 and the cyclone 25. The distillation slops leaving the device give up their energy to the wine entering the device via the exchanger 7. The wine has previously been degassed in the degassing vessel 3, in communication with the vacuum pump 1.
