Abstract

Abstract The device comprises a visual display and a player operated control unit and transmitting signals to the display. Respective input mechanisms are associated with each player or team of players and communicate control signals to the control unit. The control unit selects a respective control signal from one input mechanism. The control unit is programmed so that compliance with the scoring system of the sport or game is achieved. The score in the sport or game is displayed on the visual display unit and is updated to give the instantaneous score by operating the input mechanisms. Each input mechanism can comprise a keyboard or sensor pad operated unit, disposed at opposite ends of the tennis court.
