Compressed gas circuit breaker with auxiliary switch resistor - uses tubular contacts with adjustment on main contacts to control insertion of switch resistors (BR 13.4.82)
Abstract
Abstract The compressed gas circuit breaker has a fixed tubular contact, a mobile tubular contact, and a device to insert a resistance during closing of the breaker. Both the insertion device and the resistance are incorporated in a coaxial casing, with the insertion device controlled by the mobile contact of the circuit breaker. The insertion device is semi-mobile and has a damper and a device delaying its opening during opening of the breaker. A second resistance and an insertion contact are placed in parallel with the first resistance. The second resistor insertion contact is linked to the first resistor insertion device. The tubular insertion contact is adjustable to permit adjustment of the duration of the insertion of the first resistance.
