Abstract
Abstract The connector assembles a component to a profiled section with a cylindrical socket, in the form of a cylindrical nail with a head. The nail is smooth, and has for part of its length, an unsymmetrical portion (43) distorted from its centre line (X-X). The distorted portion can be in the form of a boss, running in an axial plane and roughly halfway along the nail (41). It Its length can be approximately one third of the overall length of the nail.
