Abstract
Abstract The rotary internal combustion engine has an outer case (8) composed of two semi cylindrical halves. They are adjusted by screws (27) to vary their separation and thus the elongation of the case. A circular cylinder block (13) which rotates within the case, has radial cylinders in each of which a piston reciprocates. The outer ends of the pistons carry rollers which run on the inside of the case (8). The radial movement of the pistons and therefore the compression ratio depends on the elongation of the case which is adjustable. The engine is thus readily adapted to different fuels.
