Extruded plastics window slat - has two bridge-pieces joining internal tubular portion to outer walls
Abstract
Abstract The extruded plastics slat is for doors and windows, having two outer parallel walls joined by transverse walls forming the slat sections. The end sections have hinges and also internal tubular portions with internal ribs, joined by bridge-pieces to the outer parallel walls. There are two at least of these bridge pieces (7) joining the tubular portion (6) to the outer walls (1). They can be inclined at 45 deg. to the latter, and the tubular portion can be of square section, with its sides parallel to the outer and transverse slat walls. The internal ribs can be four in number, extending from the corners of the tubular portion.
