Abstract
Abstract The metallic caisson to form a floating structure is fitted with sections which form the sides and base and made of plates welded with corrugations in the horizontal plane on the side elements. The caisson is contained in a frame of square sectioned elements (11) connected by means of a back plate to cover pieces (62). The corner pieces are adjacent to two horizontal slots (60', 60") designed to house a locking bar which joins one caisson to an adjacent one. The joints are locked together by vertical pins passing through both slots.
