Bicycle saddle bracket - has support with cylindrical recess accommodating mating portion on lower clamping jaw
Abstract
Abstract The bracket comprises a horizontal support, concave towards the top and overhanging the frame bar, together with a cylindrical section. On this fits an assembly of two jaws (4, 5), one above the other and gripping the saddle bars (6, 7), and the lower jaw has on the underside a cylindrical protrusion fitting in the cylindrical section of the support. The assembly is held together by a screw (9) passing upwards through the overhanging part of the support and the jaws and engaging in a tapped boss (10) in the top jaw. There is an opening in one or both of the cylindrical sectors, to allow their movement in relation to each other without removal of the screw.
