Motorised telescopic aerial for automobile - has electric motor driven roller and spring loaded roller moving actuating element
Abstract
Abstract The radio aerial is extended or retracted by an electric motor (16) which has a flexible actuating spindle (7) fixed to the interior end of the telescopic element situated inside the aerial. The actuating spindle is guided by a simple friction connection, and by preference, with the possibility of sliding, between two driving rollers (8, 9). One of the rollers (9) is a driving roller which is positively coupled to the electric motor (16). The other roller (8) is a pressure roller, which is supported so as to rotate freely, and it is pressed against the driving rollers by being mounted on a lever (11) which is spring loaded.
