Label for medical use - carries details of medicament and times when they must be administered

Abstract

Abstract The label provides data regarding a course of medical treatment, and has a rigid or semi-rigid support. On one or both faces of this is a schedule, one section dealing with the medicaments prescribed, and the other the times at which they are to be administered. The schedules can have a series of squares in vertical rows below a heading. Other squares can accommodate the patienths name, the next appointment with the doctor, and any medicaments to be administered at intervals greater than one day. General instructions on the course of treatment can be given on the back of the label, together with the doctor's references.
