Abstract
Abstract A multi-layer sandwich panel consists of a central core surrounded on each side with a face, and having between the core and the face a reinforcement of a number of filaments. The fibres are pref. of glass buried in a layer of polyester adhesive. Wood veneer panels of good strength can be formed with core and surface wood layers with parallel grain if reinforced with glass fibres.
