Abstract
Abstract The shelder comprises a thermally insulated cylindrical chamber provided with means for rapid connection to air, water and electricity etc. supplies, fitted with a sliding door which is sealable against the access opening by an inflatable cushion. Suitably the atmosphere inside the chamber when in use is maintained at a slight over pressure to the external atmosphere by means of a differential pressure valve. The chamber may be constructed from steel and concrete.
