Data broadcasting system on subcarrier

Abstract

Abstract The system has as its objective the sending of commercial data by means of a subcarrier on FM or AM radio channels. For this purpose, there is configured in a transmitter normally associated with a radio station a transmitter which incorporates a computer 1, source of the data information, a modem 2 to convert the digital signal or phonic signal and a subcarrier generator 3 with a system of injection of the transmission encoded with data into a normal programmed transmission of a commercial transmitter. The receiver is constituted by a radio receiver into which must be incorporated a demodulator which extracts the data from the subcarrier and a microprocessor 12 which manages the operation of the equipment, implementing error verification and communication with a personal computer 19 to handle the data received. The receiver equipment is configured by means of a casing with a connection to a radio antenna and a computer to transmit the data received.
