Micro-machined sensor, particularly for displacement
Abstract
<IMAGE> This micro-machined inductive sensor allows, without contact and by means of a radiated alternating magnetic field, to detect the position and / or movement of an object (0) capable of modifying this magnetic field and comprising for this purpose at least one discontinuity (D, C). The sensor comprises a planar emitting coil (10) for emitting the alternating magnetic field and planar receiving coils (11 to 14) placed so as to pick up a determined part of said field and the variations of this captured magnetic part due to the discontinuity of the 'object (0). The coils are arranged on a common substrate and obtained by selective photolithography operations. According to the invention, in the areas on the substrate in which the take-up coil (10) is contiguous with a take-up coil (11 to 14), at least one shielding range is provided which is galvanically independent of the coils (10 to 14) and connected to a reference potential. The shielding area (21) is formed by a metallization layer deposited on the substrate. <IMAGE>
