Electroluminescent structure using blend systems
Abstract
Abstract Two-electrode electroluminescent devices have a light-emitting layer containing a dye : Where T = O or NR4, with R4 = H or optionally substituted alkyl or aryl; R1 and R8 = a 5- or 6-membered carbo- or hetero-cyclic ring bonded via a C atom or a 5- or 6-membered heterocyclic ring bonded via an N atom, the ring being rotationally non-symmetrical to the axis of the coumarin-N-heterocycle and optionally carrying non-ionic substituents and optionally being condensed to optionally substituted benzene or naphthalene rings; R2 and R9 = alkenyl, optionally substituted-alkyl, -cycloalkyl, -aryl or -aralkyl, -OR5 or -NR6R7; R5 - R7 and R10 = H or optionally substituted alkyl or aryl; and R3 = H or CN.
