Abstract

Abstract An input device (6) comprises an ON key (600) and an OFF key (601) for turning on or off a power supply. When the OFF key (601) is pressed during operation, a CPU (4) reads out the real time from a clock unit (101) in an RTC (10) to store in a clock buffer unit (112) in a RAM (11), retrieves the data for a past or future time close to the current time from the date related data stored in a data unit (113), displays in a display unit (2), and then turns off the power source. The date related data to be retrieved includes date information, and the date information is compared with the real time stored in the clock buffer unit (111), and the agreement or recent schedule data is displayed in the display unit (2), so that the information apt to be forgotten can be confirmed at a kind of turning point of turning off the power supply.

Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 5
Claim 1
Independent Claim 183 words
A data processing apparatus comprising power on/off operating means (600, 601), input means (6) of date related data including date information, storage means (11) of inputted date related data, retrieval means (4) of stored date related data, display means (2) of retrieved date related data, and clock means of actual time, which further comprises: detecting means (4) for detecting a power cut-off operation; condition setting means for setting a time condition for retrieving date related data on the basis of the moment of power cut-off operation, and a display condition for displaying the date related data in display means (2); and control means (4) for controlling so as to read out the clock output from the clock means (10) upon power cut-off operation in response to the output from the detecting means (4), to retrieve the date related data of which date information satisfies the time condition, on the basis of the read-out time of power cut-off operation by the retrieval means (4), to display in the display means (2) according to the display condition, and to activate the predetermined power cut-off operation.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 27 words
The data processing apparatus of claim 1, wherein the time condition of retrieval is to go back to the past from the power cut-off operation real time.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 25 words
The data processing apparatus of claim 1, wherein the time condition of retrieval is to advance to the future from the cut-off operation real time.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 47 words
The data processing apparatus of claim 1, wherein the display condition concerns the number of cases that can be displayed once in the display means (2), and the control means (4) makes the retrieval means (4) retrieve the date related data up to this number of cases.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 103 words
A data processing apparatus comprising power on/off operating means (600, 601), input means (6) of date related data including date information, storage means (11) of inputted date related data, retrieval means (4) of stored date related data, display means (2) of retrieved date related data, and clock means (10) of real time, the data processing apparatus further comprising: detecting means (4) for detecting a power cut-off operation; and control means (4) for displaying a real time of power supply cut-off moment when the power supply is turned off, in the display device (2) in response to an output from the detecting means (4).
