Abstract Organosilicon compounds of the general formula (RSiO3/2)z (I> in which z is 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 or 14 and R can be identical or different and is a hydrogen atom, an organic radical or radicals of the formula R<1>3SiO(SiR<2>2O)n- (II> where R<1> can be identical or different and is a hydrogen atom, organic radical or organosilicon radical, R<2> can be identical or different and is a hydrogen atom or an organic radical and n is 0 or an integer, with the proviso that the organosilicon compound of the formula (I) contains at least one radical R of the formula (II) where n > 0.
