Abstract

Abstract A radio transceiver in which an antenna is connected selectively to a transmitter (3) or a receiver (2) through a duplexer (1). A controller (5) is provided to control the switching operation of the duplexer so that when an output of the receiver exceeds a predetermined maximun threshold level of the receiver, the antenna is connected to the transmitter through the duplexer while a leakage received power of the duplexer is applied to the input of the receiver.

Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 4
Claim 1
Independent Claim 121 words
A radio transceiver in which a transmitter (3) and a receiver (2) are connected via a duplexer (1) to an antenna and a controller (5) for controlling the entire transceiver operation switches said duplexer between the transmitter and the receiver, characterised in: that said controller (5) has a construction in which during transmission it activates said duplexer (1) to switch said antenna to said transmitter (3), during reception it activates said duplexer (1) to switch said antenna to said receiver (2), and when the received input level exceeds a predetermined maximum input level of said receiver, it activates said duplexer to switch said antenna to said transmitter so that a leakage received power of said duplexer is provided to said receiver.
Claim 2
Dependent Claim 121 words
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 88 words
A radio transceiver comprising: a transmitter (3); a receiver (2); an antenna; a duplexer (1) for switching the antenna to an output of the transmitter or an input of the receiver; and a controller (5) for controlling the switching operation of the duplexer (1) so that when an output of the receiver exceeds a predetermined maximum threshold level of the receiver, the antenna is connected to the output of the transmitter through the duplexer while a leakage received power of the duplexer is applied to the inputofthe receiver.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 88 words
A radio transceiver comprising: a transmitter (3); a receiver (2); an antenna; a duplexer (1) for switching the antenna to an output of the transmitter or an input of the receiver; and a controller (5) for controlling the switching operation of the duplexer (1) so that when an output of the receiver exceeds a predetermined maximum threshold level of the receiver, the antenna is connected to the output of the transmitter through the duplexer while a leakage received power of the duplexer is applied to the inputofthe receiver.
