Vehicle tyre tread
Abstract
Abstract The invention relates to a vehicle tyre (1) with a tread (7,8) which is arranged on its radially outer side and is divided into at least two layers (8a, 8b, 8c, 8d, 7), these layers differing with respect to their physical properties relevant to the braking distance under wet conditions. In order to reduce the increase in the braking distance by means of a decreasing profile depth, the inventors propose that the physical properties, relevant to the braking distance under wet conditions, of the radially innermost layer (8d), which comes into contact with the carriageway towards the end of the service life of the vehicle tyre (1), of the tread (7,8) be greater than the physical properties, relevant to the braking distance under wet conditions, of the radially outermost layer (8a), which comes into contact with the carriageway at the start of the service life of the vehicle tyre (1), of the tread (7,8). <IMAGE>
