Claim 3
Dependent Claim
175 words
The method as set forth in claim 1, wherein said switching center further comprises terminating terminal memory means for storing a terminating terminal number corresponding to the personal number of each subscriber, said terminating terminal number being registered by the subscriber, and wherein said step (D) comprises the steps of: (F) interrogating idle/busy information corresponding to said terminating personal number from said subscriber idle/busy memory means so as to determine whether said terminating subscriber is idle or busy; (G) interrogating a terminating terminal number corresponding to the terminating personal number from said terminating terminal memory means; (H) interrogating idle/busy information corresponding to the terminating terminal number from said terminal idle/busy memory means so as to determine whether the terminating terminal is idle or busy; and (I) performing an incoming call connection process corresponding to the incoming call connection request when both the determined results of said steps (B) and (C) are idle, and cancelling the incoming call connection process when at least one of the determined results of said steps (B) and (C) is busy.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim
203 words
A call connection method for a personal communication system including a plurality of switching centers and a plurality of terminals, each of said switching centers having terminating terminal memory means and communicating terminal memory means, said terminating terminal memory means being adapted for storing a terminating terminal number corresponding to the personal number of each subscriber, the terminating terminal number being registered by the subscriber, said communicating terminal memory means being adapted for storing the terminal number of a communicating terminal corresponding to the personal number of the subscriber, said method comprising the steps of: (A) receiving a terminating personal number as an incoming call connection request signal; (B) interrogating communicating terminal information corresponding to the terminating personal number from said communicating terminal memory means so as to determine whether or not the communicating terminal number has been registered; (C) performing the incoming call connection process for the terminal number when it has been registered in said step (B); and (D) interrogating a terminating terminal number corresponding to the terminating personal number from said terminating terminal memory means and performing the incoming call connection process for the terminating terminal number when the communicating terminal number has not been registered in said step (B).
Claim 5
Dependent Claim
232 words
A call connection method for a personal communication system including a plurality of switching centers and a plurality of terminals, each of said switching centers having subscriber idle/busy memory means, terminating terminal memory means, and communicating terminal memory means, said subscriber idle/busy memory means being adapted for storing idle/busy information corresponding to the personal number of each subscriber, said terminating terminal memory means being adapted for storing a terminating terminal number corresponding to the personal number of the subscriber, the terminating terminal number being registered by the subscriber, said communicating terminal memory means being adapted for storing the terminal number of a communicating terminal corresponding to the personal number of the subscriber, said method comprising the steps of: (A) receiving a terminating personal number as an incoming call connection request signal; (B) interrogating idle/busy information corresponding to the terminating personal number from said subscriber idle/busy memory means so as to determine whether the terminating subscriber is idle or busy; (C) interrogating communicating terminal information corresponding to the terminating personal number from said communicating terminal memory means when the terminating subscriber has been determined as busy in said step (B); and (D) interrogating a terminating terminal number corresponding to the terminating personal number from said terminating terminal memory means and performing the incoming call connection process for the terminal number when said terminating subscriber has been determined as idle in said step (B).
