Device for limiting inrush current in switching power supplies
Abstract
Abstract The invention relates to a device for limiting the switching-on current of switched-mode power supplies having one input (2) to which voltages of different values can be applied, and having one output (3) to which further switching components of the switched-mode power supply can be connected and across which a charge capacitor (4) is connected, having a charging current path (5) for charging a charge capacitor (4) in which a charging resistor is arranged, and having a further current path which runs in parallel with the charging current path and has a switch for bridging the charging resistor, the charging resistor being constructed as a PTC thermistor (PTC 10). <IMAGE>
