Claims Analysis

Total Claims: 16
Claim 1
Independent Claim 105 words
A method for converting dry, free flowing, particulate compositions which are dust forming during handling, transportation and storage due to the presence of particles having a particle size less than about 40 microns to form dry, free flowing, particulate compositions which are substantially free of dust formation, said method comprising treating the compositions with an effective amount of an inert liquid to agglomerate a portion of the particles into agglomerated groups of particles in which each group has a particle size greater than about 40 microns, the compositions being substantially free of discrete or agglomerated particles having a particle size less than about 40 microns.
Claim 2
Independent Claim 119 words
A method for converting dry, free flowing, particulate compositions which are dust forming during handling, transportation and storage due to the presence of particles having a particle size less than about 40 microns to form dry, free flowing, particulate compositions which are substantially free of dust formation and contain ammonium, alkali metal or alkaline earth metal peroxygenated salts or mixtures thereof, said method comprising treating the compositions with an effective amount of an inert liquid to agglomerate a portion of the particles into agglomerated groups of particles in which each group has a particle size greater than about 40 microns, the compositions being substantially free of discrete or agglomerated particles having a particle size less than about 40 microns.
Claim 3
Dependent Claim 28 words
A method as in claim 1 or 2 wherein the composition is treated with from about 10 % to about 25 % by weight of an inert liquid.
Claim 4
Dependent Claim 14 words
A method as in claim 3 wherein the composition is a hair treatment composition.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 19 words
A method as in claim 4 wherein the composition is a hair dye composition, or a hair bleaching composition.
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 26 words
A method as in claim 5 wherein the hair dye composition is a semipermanent hair dye composition, an oxidative hair dye composition or a mixture thereof.
Claim 7
Independent Claim 25 words
A method as in any one of the preceding claims wherein the inert liquid is a mineral oil, a silicone oil or a natural oil.
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 23 words
A method as in claim 2 wherein the peroxygenated salts are persulfates, preferably ammonium persulfate, sodium, persulfate, potassium persulfate or a mixture thereof.
Claim 9
Dependent Claim 75 words
Dry, free flowing, particulate compositions which are substantially free of dust formation comprising discrete particles and agglomerated groups of particles having adsorbed thereon an effective amount of an inert liquid to agglomerate a portion of the particles to form agglomerated groups of particles in which each group has a particle size greater than about 40 microns, said compositions being substantially free of discrete or agglomerated particles having a particle size less than about 40 microns.
Claim 10
Dependent Claim 88 words
Dry, free flowing, particulate compositions which are substantially free of dust formation comprising discrete particles and agglomerated groups of particles of ammonium, alkali metal or alkaline earth metal peroxygenated salts or mixtures thereof having adsorbed thereon an effective amount of an inert liquid to agglomerate a portion of the particles to form agglomerated groups of particles in which each group has a particle size greater than about 40 microns, said compositions being substantially free of discrete or agglomerated particles having a particle size less than about 40 microns.
Claim 11
Dependent Claim 29 words
A composition as in claim 9 or 10 wherein the amount of inert liquid adsorbed on the particles is from about 10 % to about 25 % by weight.
Claim 12
Dependent Claim 14 words
A composition as in claim 11 wherein the composition is a hair treatment composition.
Claim 13
Dependent Claim 19 words
A composition as in claim 12 wherein the composition is a hair dye composition or a hair bleaching composition.
Claim 14
Dependent Claim 26 words
A composition as in claim 13 wherein the hair dye composition is a semipermanent hair dye composition, an oxidative hair dye composition or a mixture thereof.
Claim 15
Dependent Claim 26 words
A composition as in any one of claims 9 to 14 wherein the inert liquid is a mineral oil, a silicone oil or a natural oil.
Claim 16
Dependent Claim 23 words
A composition as in claim 10 wherein the peroxygenated salts are persulfates, preferably ammonium persulfate, sodium persulfate, potassium persulfate or a mixture thereof.
