Level switch
Abstract
In the level switch, the inverting input of a positive and negative feedback operational amplifier (1) with a ring plate (rp) and its non-inverting input with an electrode (4) and its output via a capacitor (5) are connected to ground. A counter electrode (oe) connected to ground surrounds one end of a dielectric body (db) of a probe (s₄) in which an annular plate (rp) is coaxially installed near the other end thereof, and on the circumference of the body (db) between the counter electrode ( oe) and the ring plate (rp) a shield electrode (se) is arranged, which is connected via a capacitor (6) to the output of the operational amplifier (1). The other end of the body (db) is closed off by the electrode (e). The output of the operational amplifier (1) is connected to the output (o) of the level switch via a low-frequency band filter (7), a rectifier (8), an amplitude limiter (9) and an amplifier (10), which are connected in series.
