Abstract
Abstract The heat exchanger includes a finned tube bundle (12) and a manifold/header box assembly (26). The ends (16) of the tubes (12) are mounted sealed in the holes of a manifold (18), and at least one locking element (34) passes through the manifold (18) and extends beyond the latter in a direction parallel to that of the tubes. This element (34) includes an extension which comes to bear on the longitudinal edges (52,54) of a group of fins (14) adjacent to the manifold (18). <??>Application in particular to heat exchangers for motor vehicles. <IMAGE>
