Abstract
Abstract The present invention has an object to provide a fingerprint data registering method which can clearly show the characteristics of minutiae storing the information of an original image. The present invention is characterized by the steps of thinning a fingerprint image, converting a pixel of each part of an image in the image performed thinning into the data of numerical value corresponding to the pattern of the part, and registering the data of numerical value as the pixel. <IMAGE>
