Tyre pressure control

Abstract

Abstract Method and device for controlling the pressure in tyres for agricultural vehicles. Known pressure controls permit a specific pressure to be maintained as a function of the vehicle speed or are provided with a time-controlled pressure control. In order to obtain a pressure control which optimises the tyre pressure to the conditions of use including the travel safety, pulling force and service life of the tyres, the control according to the invention provides an electronic control 5 with which different status variables of the vehicle are detected via measurement value signal generators. The tyre pressure control presented takes into account different parameters with which the degree of loading of the vehicle can be influenced, and correspondingly matches the tyre pressure thereto. <IMAGE>
