Connector with lockable latching member
Abstract
Abstract 2.1 A known connecter makes the latching insertion of a plug into a socket possible, the latching additionally being blocked in the unplugging direction with the aid of a lock. Before unplugging, a locking sleeve on the plug must be operated by hand. 2.2 In the new connecter, the locking element (26) is connected to the end of the cable (22) which feeds the plug (20). A tension force on the cable thus releases the lock and subsequently makes it possible to unplug the plug from the socket (21). Destruction of the plug as a result of inadvertently pulling on the cable is thus prevented. 2.3 Connecters for calling systems on hospital beds. <IMAGE>
