Abstract The device is characterised in that the socket part (3a) of the recirculation pipe (3) connected to the intake manifold (4) opening into the latter comprises a double wall (3b, 3c) defining an annular thermal insulation chamber (10) of the wall of the intake manifold (4) from the inside wall (3b) of the socket part (3a).
