Abstract This chassis is the type which comprises a handle (1) mounted such that it slides down over the front legs (4) by means of a guide clamp (9) to which the top end (10) of the corresponding rear leg (11) is jointed. The chassis is fitted with articulated means of supporting either a seat or a carry-cot, consisting of a U-shaped member (8) which articulates (6) at one end of its arms (7) with the upper end of the front legs (4), and at the other end (12) of its arms with the bottom part of the rear legs (11). The long rods (14) which serve to hold the seat or carry-cot are jointed at their rear ends (13) to the top of the arms (7) of the U-shaped member (8), said long rods (14) being supported and articulated by respective struts (15) which are jointed, below, to the top of the rear legs (11).
A folding chassis for babies' pushchairs, of the type comprising a handle (1) mounted such that it slides down over the front legs (4) by means of a guide clamp (9) to which is jointed (10) the top end of the corresponding rear leg (11), characterised in that the top ends of the front legs (4) are articulated (6) to the ends of the arms (7) of a U-shaped crossmember (8), which is also articulated (12) at the lower end of its arms (7) to the middle part of the rear legs (11), two long rods (14) being jointed at their rear ends (13) to the top of the arms (7) of said crossmember (8) in order to take a seat and/or carry-cot, each of these long rods (14) being supported at its front ends by respective struts (15) which articulate above with said ends and below with the top part of the rear legs (11).
