Abstract

Abstract An ISDN D channel congestion control method has at least either a digital subscriber line circuit common (DLCC) (7) or a signaling controller (SGC) (18) notify either an SGC (18) or a packet subscriber system (PSS) (23) of a D channel congestion according to a predetermined protocol, thereby controlling the congestion of a communication controlling apparatus.

Claim 4
Dependent Claim 87 words
An ISDN D channel congestion control method for the digital subscriber line circuit common (DLCC) of an ISDN digital switching apparatus, comprising: a step of performing a congestion control according to the usage rate of a receiving buffer, when said receiving buffer stores D channel P (packet) information concentrated by a signaling controller (SGC); a step of notifying the PLCA in a PSS of a congestion by a simplified LAPD protocol; and a step of regulating said D channel P information by an LAPD in a PLCA.
Claim 5
Dependent Claim 72 words
An ISDN D channel congestion control method for the digital subscriber line circuit common (DLCC) of an ISDN digital switching apparatus, comprising: a step of performing a congestion control according to the usage rate of a receiving buffer for regulating said P information by emitting an RNR (receive not ready) signal to said signaling controller (SGC), when said receiving buffer stores D channel P (packet) information concentrated by a signaling controller (SGC).
Claim 6
Dependent Claim 125 words
An ISDN D channel congestion control method for the signaling controller (SGC) of an ISDN digital switching apparatus, comprising: a step of monitoring the usage rate of a receiving buffer for receiving P (packet) information supplied from a digital subscriber line circuit common (DLCC); a step of setting sixteen (16) to the service access point (SAP) of a packet subscriber system (PSS) when the usage rate is equal to or greater than a first usage rate threshold; a step of outputting an RNR (receive not ready) signal to a terminal according to a linked layer access procedure D channel (LAPD); and discards said P (packet) information when the usage rate of the receiving buffer is equal to or greater than a second usage rate threshold.
Claim 7
Dependent Claim 54 words
An ISDN D channel congestion control method for the signaling controller (SGC) of an ISDN digital switching apparatus, comprising: a step of detecting a congestion of S information supplied from the DLCC; and a step of emitting an RNR (receive not ready) signal to said DLCC as a congestion of a line processor (LPR).
Claim 8
Dependent Claim 111 words
An ISDN D channel congestion control method for the signaling controller (SGC) of an ISDN digital switching apparatus, comprising: a step of monitoring the usage rate of an sending buffer storing P information to be transmitted to the DLCC; a step of performing a primary congestion notification when said usage rate of said sending buffer reaches a first usage rate threshold; a step of regulating the transmission of the I frame having a DLCC shelf number corresponding to the PLCA in a PSS; and a step of performing a secondary congestion notification for discarding said P information, when said usage rate of said sending buffer exceeds a second usage rate threshold.
