Abstract In a protective fencing device for traffic areas, consisting of finished parts (1) which can be erected on the ground, are designed as hollow bodies and can be assembled together by plug fitting in a manner proof against pulling or bending, at least two horizontally spaced boards (12, 13) are provided in the interior thereof, these being fixedly connected to the insides of the lateral surfaces of the device and overlapping when it is plugged together. <IMAGE>
