Blood vessel implant having legs with opposing points
Abstract
Abstract The invention relates to a device intended to be implanted in a vessel, for example a filter for the retention of blood clots in a vein, which comprises lateral legs bearing on the wall of the vessel. <??>According to the invention, each leg (3), the end of which is not tapered, is provided with at least two points (6,7) of opposing inclination. They are preferably positioned towards the rounded end (9) of the leg (3) and have diverging directions. <??>The point is obtained, for example, by cutting and planishing of a middle part of the leg and, if appropriate, by subsequent folding. The angle of the end part (21) of the point (6) relative to the plane of the leg (3) is between 0 and 30<o>; the tooth (25) of the point (6) is at a distance of between 0.8 and 2 mm from the leg (3). <IMAGE>
