Method of data broadcasting using time-frequency interleaving and coherent demodulation
Abstract
<IMAGE> The field of the invention is that of the dissemination of digital data intended to be received in particular by mobiles circulating in an urban environment, that is to say under conditions of multi-propagation and in the presence of parasites and interference. The invention relates to a broadcasting method allowing coherent demodulation, under such reception conditions. The method of the invention is a method of broadcasting digital data, in particular for broadband broadcasting to mobiles, of the type ensuring the distribution of said data in the form of digital elements in the frequency space f-time t and l emission of symbols each consisting of a multiplex of N orthogonal carrier frequencies modulated by a set of digital elements, and broadcast simultaneously, some of said digital elements being reference elements (22), of value and of position in said frequency space f - times t known to the receptors. <IMAGE>
